The goal is simple but meaningful — to take a space that already belongs to the community and give it new life.
In Inglewood, near the heart of Los Angeles and the growing sports and entertainment district surrounding SoFi Stadium, Pro Standard and Project Backboard are coming together with a shared vision: to transform an existing community park into a vibrant destination where sport, culture, art, and neighborhood pride intersect.
The project will reimagine the park through a collection of thoughtfully designed spaces that make it feel welcoming, inspiring, and distinctly connected to its surroundings.
More Than A Court
The result is intended to feel less like a renovated facility and more like a living piece of the neighborhood — sculptures and public art creating moments of discovery, a playground for younger children, and gathering areas for families, friends and neighbors.
A Collaboration Built Around Culture
Pro Standard brings a deep connection to sports, fashion, and culture — celebrating the teams, athletes, cities, and communities that give sports their meaning. This project takes that philosophy beyond apparel and into the physical spaces where culture and sport actually come to life.
Project Backboard brings expertise in transforming basketball courts into public works of art, recognizing the court as a canvas, a gathering point, and a source of neighborhood identity.
Together, the partnership reimagines the entire park as one connected experience.
